Crews battle fire in southwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Crews are battling a fire Saturday morning at Albuquerque Metal Recycling. Crews originally believed the fire to be a brush fire. However, they have confirmed that the fire is at the metal recycling plant.A source says piles of scrap metal and plastic are on fire.Fire officials say the fire south of town has ignited at Rio Bravo and 2nd Street.The cause of the fire and the size is not known at this time.
Bernalillo County Fire is telling people to stay inside and
