Courtney Frerichs is ready for Rio

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The dream season continues for Courtney Frerichs when she travels to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil for the Olympic Games next month.
The former Lobo and NCAA 3,000 meter steeplechase champion her first goal at the games will be trying to get to the finals. Her second goal is to challenge herself.
Frerichs did that during the Olympic trails when she moved up two spots during the 3,000 meter steeplechase final to finish second and earn a bid to the games.
