Cooler and breezy afternoon

A cold front moved in from the northwest overnight, beginning a cooling trend that will continue through next week. Northeastern parts of New Mexico saw some light snowfall overnight, causing US-64 from Raton to just west of Clayton to be shut down this morning. Breezy, but lighter winds and cooler temperatures will be in place for Sunday. Some light snow will also be possible early Sunday morning in far northeastern New Mexico.Next week’s weather get’s a lot more interesting. Monday
