Construction project to make busy stretch of Ladera safer begins

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Tuesday, the city started work on a new look for a busy stretch of road plagued by speeders.
The project will cost $3 million. The median will remain the way it is, but will be filled with landscaping. The main reason for all of this though, is to slow down speeders.
