Construction continues on Albuquerque Fire Rescue's newest station

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue is giving an update on the construction of the first new station in more than 20 years. Fire Station 23 will be part of the west side's Southwest Public Safety Center on 98th Street and Amole Mesa Ave.Urban Wildlife Fiesta celebrated at ABQ BioPark ZooThe goal of the $23.9 million project is to lower emergency response times in the area. The first phase of construction is scheduled to be completed by the fall.
