Community comes together to honor Officer Daniel Webster

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Friday marks one year since Albuquerque police officer Daniel Webster was gunned down during a traffic stop. On the somber anniversary of his death, the community is coming together to honor the fallen officer.
The Celebration of Service at Civic Plaza began at noon and lasts until 1 p.m. There are food trucks here, the honor guard and music and a balloon release are planned.
Officer Webster was shot during a traffic stop on Central and Eubank a year ago today.
