CNM officials to discuss brewing academy plans

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Tuesday, officials at Central New Mexico Community College are expected to discuss a new degree in beer brewing.
Voters recently agreed to give CNM $84 million. About $5 million will go toward building a brewery on campus and creating a brewing and catering academy. The college is planning to offer five classes, from beer production to draft systems and food safety, starting Fall 2016.
