Clovis man sentenced to prison in meth trafficking case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – A 37-year-old Clovis man faces 12½ years in prison after being sentenced on his methamphetamine trafficking conviction.
Michael Montoya was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Albuquerque. Besides being sentenced to 151 months in prison, he also was ordered to pay $60,000.
A court document says that amount represents some of the money he made from the illegal activity.
