Clovis man found guilty of aggravated battery with a baseball bat
CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A Clovis man will spend at least three years in jail after he was found guilty of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
In 2013, 47-year-old Robert Burke struck another man with a metal baseball bat while the man was getting out of his car. The victim was taken to the hospital, but was okay.
Burke is also facing charges for aggravated assault and intimidation of a witness.
