Clerk fired from job after beating robbery suspect with mop

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A store clerk was the victim of an attempted robbery, but now KRQE News 13 has learned the clerk who said he was defending himself has lost his job because of that incident.
That clerk said this all happened very quickly and said he was fired for not following policy, but he believes he did what he could in the moment.
