Clean up efforts continue after storm slams eastern New Mexico

CHAVES COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Parts of eastern New Mexico are now on day four of a massive winter storm cleanup. Emergency crews have been surveying the aftermath, checking on stranded cars and collapsed buildings.
One of the hardest hit areas was Chaves County where the sheriff’s department even had one of their own Humvees get stuck in this storm.
