Civil Emergency Message issued in Chaves County

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Emergency Management Agency has issued a Civil Emergency Message to the residence of Chaves County.
Officials from the City of Roswell are asking local residents to refrain from travel. Poor weather conditions have made travel difficult and officials are warning that motorists could get stranded in impassable conditions and may face a long wait before emergency responders can reach them.
