City of Albuquerque launching new program to tackle illegal dumping, graffiti

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque says it needs a boost in security to tackle a constant problem.
“The graffiti and illegal dumping has always been a hot spot in Albuquerque,” said Gilbert Montaño, Mayor Richard J. Berry’s Chief of Staff.
That’s why the city will soon place mobile surveillance trailers around Albuquerque.
“We hear the most from the neighborhood groups,” said Montaño.
