Child injured by needle during South Valley cleanup

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– A young child volunteering to pick up trash in the South Valley was stabbed in the hand with a hypodermic needle.
Bernalillo County says it happened during Saturday morning’s community cleanup.
That child was wearing gloves and was treated by paramedics on scene.
