Carlsbad Police to hold mass casualty training simulation

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – The Carlsbad Police Department will conduct a training exercise Thursday afternoon by simulating a mass casualty event. It will start around 4 p.m. at Carlsbad High School and is expected to last four hours. State considers sale of land for proposed veterans cemeteryResidents may see a large presence of police, fire, and emergency medical personnel during that time.
