Car submerged under water after crashing into ditch

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Two women are recovering in the hospital thanks to some good Samaritans.
An 80-year-old mother and her 47-year-old daughter were driving down Highway 5-16 near Aztec when a dump truck ran them off the road and into an irrigation ditch.
A detective with the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office saw it happen and rushed to the scene where their car was submerged in water.
