Can Villanova avoid another NCAA Tournament letdown?
For the third straight year, Villanova will enter the NCAA Tournament with high expectations and even higher skepticism. Last season, No. 1 ‘Nova was 33-2 entering March Madness, but lost to a 22-13 NC State squad. The year before, the Wildcats went 29-4 and earned a No. 2 seed, but were picked off by Connecticut in the second round.
This season, they’re 29-5, but are coming off a loss to Seton Hall in the Big East championship game.
