Calm day for weather

Temperatures across the state are climbing. At the same time our next storm system is strengthening over the Baja.
A high pressure system moved over New Mexico this past Sunday. The result is clear skies and warmer temperatures for the entire state. Sunday saw a rapid increase in temperatures statewide. This afternoon that warming trend will continue. Nearly all of eastern New Mexico will be in the 70's. Parts of southeastern New Mexico could reach the 80's.
