Broken valve restricts traffic on Central near University

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Central Ave eastbound is restricted to one lane from Sycamore to University Blvd due to a broken valve, Water Authority officials say.
The Water Authority says the valve broke early Wednesday morning and crews are on scene working on repairs.
The Water Authority also says two local businesses were affected.
Drivers should expect delays and seek an alternate route if possible. The Water Authority says they don’t know how long the repairs will take.
