Boy Scouts and pilot survive Belen plane crash

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE)- It was the close call of a lifetime. Three Boy Scouts and their pilot are lucky to be alive, after the four-seat plane they were flying in crashed Saturday morning in Belen.
”We touched down and half a second later we hit this bush, you can’t see anything, there’s dust everywhere, there’s dust flying into the plane,” said Jacob Brooks.
