Boy, 9, accidentally shot in head in Trinidad dies

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A 9-year-old boy who was accidentally shot in the head in Trinidad has died.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports the boy and his 8-year-old brother were waiting in a parked car Jan. 4 when they found a loaded gun. The older brother was shot and underwent surgery at Denver Children’s Hospital. He was taken off of life support Sunday.
