Bernalillo County, UNMH come together to help the homeless

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – As temperatures drop, many are struggling to keep warm. That’s why the University of New Mexico Hospital and Bernalillo County have come together to make sure the homeless have a bed at night.UNMH has donated 75 used spring mattresses and Bernalillo County donated $5,000 for new sheets, towels and laundry carts. The donated mattresses will be placed in the families with children area and the women’s dorm.
