Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies volunteer to build bikes for children

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– Some kids got the gift of learning a valuable skill by building their own Christmas presents.
Volunteers from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department along with the Police Athletic League and Sports and Wellness teamed up to help kids build bikes Saturday morning.
After assembly the volunteers stuck around to help the kids put rubber to the road.
Thirty kids referred by All Faiths and First Nation Community Health Source got to build and take home bikes.F
