Bernalillo County hires new manager under three-year contract

Julie Morgas Baca will take over as Bernalillo County manager on Saturday under a three-year contract that will pay her an annual salary of $175,000.
The County Commission unanimously approved the contract in a special meeting Tuesday afternoon.
In an interview, Morgas Baca said the existing team of deputy county managers will remain in place.
