Belen Middle School locked down after bomb threat

BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – Officials say that Belen Middle School was put on lock down in response to a bomb threat Tuesday.
State Police say the treat was made toward the school around 2 p.m. State Police told KRQE News 13 that officers cleared the school after the bomb squad and K-9s searched the school. NMSP says some materials were collected for analysis but they did not find any immediate danger.
