BCSO: Mail carriers robbed, mailboxes broken into as thieves seek W2s

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office says two mail carriers were recently robbed in Albuquerque. Now people are being warned to stay on top of checking their mail to avoid identity theft.
BCSO released the statement Thursday after receiving reports of people breaking into mailboxes looking for mail and W2 forms.
