BCFD puts out yet another blaze at South Valley plant

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – For at least the eleventh time in the last decade, Bernalillo County Fire crews say they’ve put out a fire at a South Valley metal recycling plant.
Albuquerque Metal Recycling Inc., is just north of Rio Bravo on 2nd street.
On Saturday morning after 6 o’clock, yet another blaze broke out at the plant. Fire crews didn’t leave until close to 3 p.m.Firefighters arrived to find massive piles of metal were on fire. High winds didn’t help.
