Battleship Fire in Jemez Mountains 100 percent contained

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A blaze that sparked in the Jemez Mountains and burned three acres on Monday has been 100 percent contained, according to Santa Fe National Forest officials.
The Battleship Fire was said to be in steep terrain with limited access. Crews were on scene overnight Sunday and had the fire contained by Monday at 5:15 p.m.
Fifty-five firefighters were fighting the blaze, along with air support.
