Bandelier, Carlsbad Caverns honored with ‘Forever Stamps’

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Park Service is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a new set of “Forever Stamps.”
The set’s first-day-of-issue ceremony took place Thursday at the 2016 World Stamp Show in New York. It honors the National Park Service which is marking its centennial year.
Including New Mexico’s own Bandelier National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns. Bandelier had their own dedication ceremony for the new stamp earlier this afternoon.
