Balloon Fiesta officials prepare for Albuquerque’s largest event

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque’s biggest event of the year kicks off in just hours, and balloonists, vendors and Balloon Fiesta officials have been busy all day Friday.
More than 500 balloons are set to ascend this year, with more than 100 vendors on the ground.
Officials say there’s lots to look forward to with many balloons making first appearances.
Also new this year, a trolley system to help visitors get around the park.
