Attorney General warns of mortgage scam

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) –The state’s Attorney General is warning residents of a mortgage scam going around.
“Making Home Affordable” letters have been circulating and come from people posing as Ocwen employees.They offer a mortgage loan modification and then ask people to send money via MoneyGram.
Authorities say don’t do it and call them to report it.
