Attorney: Española coach, teacher reinstated

ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – The Española basketball coach that was fired from the school district has been reinstated.
The announcement comes after a settlement between Martinez and the Española school district was reached Tuesday.
According to Richard Martinez’s attorney Sam Bregman, Martinez was reinstated as a teacher and a coach and looks forward to getting back to work.
Martinez was fired after being accused of abusing his players and has been under investigation
