Arrests made in Albuquerque woman’s murder in Arizona

SURPRISE, AZ (KRQE) – Police in Arizona have arrested two men, accused of killing an Albuquerque woman and her friend, at the friend’s home in Surprise.
Ruth Schwed, a long-time APS teacher, had been visiting her friend Barbara Leslie in Surprise, Arizona, when about two weeks ago her family got worried and asked police there to check on the women. They were found shot to death in Leslie’s living room.
