Army to launch missile Thursday from northwestern New Mexico

WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (AP) – The Army plans to launch a target missile from a site in northwestern New Mexico on Thursday.
Officials at White Sands Missile Range said the Juno missile will be launched between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. MST to the range in southern New Mexico from Fort Wingate near Gallup, New Mexico.
White Sands is about 215 miles southeast of Fort Wingate.
