Area of Ruidoso under evacuation for flooding

RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Because of weather, a part of Ruidoso is being evacuated on Saturday.Residents in the Upper Canyon Area are being asked to evacuate due to "unstable soil and life-threatening flood waters." Residents that live close to the river are asked to leave for higher ground as well.
An evacuation shelter can be found at the White Mountain Relief Center (White Mountain Sports Complex at 687 Hull Road).Recently, wildfires have impacted Lincoln County, including Ruidos
