Applications now open for New Mexico Farmer's Market Nutrition Program

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, aimed at helping eligible seniors and families is back and accepting applications. According to the New Mexico Department of Health, the seasonal program "helps connect income-eligible seniors (60 and older, or 55 and older for Native Americans) and WIC families with locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs."Seniors can apply online or pick up a paper application at their local senior center or Public Health WIC office
