APD searches for suspect in fatal West Side stabbing

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are looking for the man they say stabbed someone to death Saturday night.
Albuquerque Police say Christopher Atencio was found stabbed to death in an apartment complex parking lot near Coors and Sequoia.
After talking to Atencio’s girlfriend, police have issued an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Jose Perez.
Perez is the girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend and father of her child.
