APD investigating deadly police shooting at Imperial Inn Motel

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police are still on the scene of a deadly police shooting in downtown Albuquerque Friday. The shooting happened at the Imperial Inn Motel just west of I-25."They tried over 200 times on various phone methods to contact this individual. At a later time, the individual exited through a window, a confrontation occurred. At least one officer fired shots, and a firearm was recovered.
