Animal Welfare hold first Adopt a Star Wars Pet event

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– The force was strong today with some four legged friends looking for homes.Animal Welfare held its first ever Adopt a Star Wars Pet event at shelters all across the city.People were able to take photos with their favorite characters from the movie.They also got a chance to adopt pets for a discounted adoption fee.By the end of the day more than 90 pets were adopted.
