Albuquerque woman pleads guilty to stealing from elderly

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A woman who took advantage of the elderly and then stole from them pleaded guilty Tuesday.Ashley Martinez went door-to-door telling people her car had broken down and she needed to use their phone. She would then steal their purse or wallet when they allowed her inside.
In one case, police say she even pushed an elderly man down.
Martinez faces 8 to 45 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced in early January.The topic is jobs.
