Albuquerque students honor child abuse victims through art

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Local students, saddened and enraged by the murders of other New Mexico children, turn their emotion into art.
“It’s shocking and it gets you sad and it gets you thinking,” said Atrisco Heritage Academy Student Alonso Estrada.
Intense emotions caught these students off guard.
“I felt like I began to know them and grew a relationship with them,” said Atrisco Heritage Academy Student Elijah Chavez.
