Albuquerque senior center honors veterans during memorial service

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A senior center in Albuquerque honored our veterans Monday during a memorial wreath ceremony. The Barelas Senior Center built a garden in the shape of a star last year for moments like this one.Men and woman gathered there to recognize veterans for their service. A memorial wreath was placed in front of the garden as people stood and saluted.There’s also a “Path of Honor” lined with flowers that leads visitors to the garden.
