Albuquerque selected to host 2019 Senior Olympic Games

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque announced Tuesday it will be hosting 10,000 athletes for the summer 2019 Senior Olympic Games — one of Albuquerque’s biggest sporting events ever.
If you’ve never heard of the National Senioir Games, athletes 50 and up compete in about 20 different sports — everything from basketball, swimming, track and field and also newer sports like pickleball.
