Albuquerque schools face tighter budget, district hosts forum

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools wants input from the public on how to handle its nearly $700 million budget. The district is currently short $9 million because of state funding, and say they’re struggling.
While $700 million sounds like a lot, district officials say its meant to cover everything from instruction to maintenance.
