Albuquerque Police: suspicious package rendered safe

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police said a suspicious package that they were investigating has been rendered safe.
Police had Tijeras Ave between 4th St and 2nd St closed after they responded to a call about a suspicious package at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday night. They said that the package was rendered safe and was not a threat at any time.
No word on what the object was.
