Albuquerque police sergeant placed on leave in connection to DWI Unit scandal

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department has placed Sgt. Lucas Perez on leave in connection with the ongoing DWI Unit scandal. According to APD, the department was told by the U.S. Attorney's Office that Perez could be placed on the Brady-Giglio list which would mean he is no longer considered a credible witness.Related Coverage:
