Albuquerque Police release lapel video after child found on I-40

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) –  Georgette Vigil, the mother accused of abandoning her nearly 2-year-old daughter on the freeway, claims she had no idea what she’d done.
The 36-year-old is now behind bars.
She made her first appearance in court Tuesday. Her attorney fought hard to get her released without bond, but the judge didn’t go for it. He said Vigil is a flight risk and poses a threat to the community. He ordered Vigil be held on a $30,000 cash surety bond.
