Albuquerque police investigate shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police are investigating after a man was shot near Central.
Albuquerque Police officers responded to the shooting in the 200 block of Rhode Island Street NE. There they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a UNM Hospital.
At this time APD is trying to locate the suspect. As a result La Mesa Elementary has been placed on lockdown.
