Albuquerque police cracking down on drag racing and dangerous driving

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department hopes bring drag racing to a halt.
Through a new initiative, APD plans to crack down on drag racing and dangerous driving this summer. The department is debuting a drag racing prevention operation. It will target problem areas in the Valley, Foothills, and Northeast area command locations. The plan is set to use resources on the ground and in the air.
Police say there will be a “Zero Tolerance Enforcement” policy.
