Albuquerque police bomb squad handling two suspicious items

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police confirmed shortly before 12:00 p.m. that they were handling two incidents at separate locations involving suspicious items.
Bomb technicians are handling an item that was on Hotel Circle NE near the Target. An APD spokesperson confirmed that item was not a threat.
Technicians were also working a scene near Paseo Del Norte NW and Kimmick Dr NW. The APD spokesperson did confirm that they would be performing a controlled detonation on that item.
